Description
- Pin is a folk instrument of the Isan region. That is unique, conveying fun and can play harmoniously with international music This Isan Acoustic Phin 3 Strings, Teak and hard Wood has been designed by Mr.Tanusak Pinsee, a young famouse folk musician of Isan, Thailand
- The body, neck and tuning head is usually carved from one piece of wood, a separate neck. The middle part of the body is cut out , and covered on both sides with thin wood. The back is flat. The body has either the shape of a teardrop or a spade or a leaf. On the front is a soundhole in a decorative shape. All edges of the body are grooved.
- The end of the peghead has on the left side a sideways extension in a curl, ending in a decorated carving of a dragon head. The open peghead has 3 modern tuning machines one left, two on the right side.
- Size : 9 inch X 37 inch . Weight : 5.5 lbs. Due to the hand crafted and natural wood, no two body are exactly alike, yours will vary slightly but same quality of sound.
