Up is on sale for a complete set of 5 roll of Hand painted cotton Tibetan Buddhist Prayer flag each roll contain 25 pieces of cloth, each sheet of cloth size is approximately 12 inch; x 7 inch; and 17 inch; long. It is a large size flag. These flags are connected along their top edges to a long string or thread. They are commonly hung on a diagonal line from high to low between two objects in high places such as the tops of temples, stupa, monasteries, and mountain passes.. Traditionally prayer flags comes in 5 different colors in a roll of Blue, white, green, red and yellow. Blue symbolizes sky/space, white symbolizes air/wind, red symbolizes fire, green symbolizes water, and yellow symbolizes earth. Prayer flags are used to promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom. The flags do not carry prayers to gods, a common misconception; rather, the Tibetans believe the prayers and mantras will be blown by the wind to spread the good will and compassion into all pervading space. Therefore, prayer flags are thought to bring benefit to all.
