It is a large size flag. These flags are connected along their top edges to a long string or thread. They are commonly hung on a diagonal line from high to low between two objects in high places such as the tops of temples, stupa, monasteries, and mountain passes.. Traditionally prayer flags comes in 5 different colors in a roll of Blue, white, green, red and yellow.
