- INCLUDES: We provide 2 double-sided adhesive tapes FOR TROUBLE FREE operation with this DYI project, easily adhere these leather strops to our provided piece of MDF fiberboard wood. Avoid troubles with glue! Strops come in suede and smooth options; you can choose smooth or rough side up! Apply compound to one side for the first polishing step and use the other side for the final stropping touch. All-In-One KIT. Everything inside a beautiful gift box as shown.100 hand finished.
- DIMENSIONS: Leather: 3 inches wide x 8 inches long. According to our experience these are correct dimensions for mostly blades. THICKNESS: As prove of authenticity of vegetable tanned real leather skin the thickness may vary from 1/16" to 3/32", but 90 of strops come in 5/64" 2 mm. approx or more, more than enough to be stuck to our MDF board. MDF dimensions: 3" wide x 8" long x 0.75" high. Compounds: 50 x 25 x 10 mm approx.
- EASY TO USE: Stropping is the act of aligning the edge of a razor, chisels & all kind of knives. Our Strops GIVE & MAINTAIN a polished sharp cutting edge. Step 1: Coarse Black. Step 2: Medium Green. Step 3: Fine White. Leather takes our compound extremely well, no need to heat up the leather or the compounds, they are NOT dry, chalky, brittle, or flaking. Compounds come in transparent plastic bags hermetically sealed and labeled with conservation instructions & sequence of use.
