READY-TO-USE Once the compound has been applied and introduced into the leather, we make a secret process of leveling of the compound to leave the surface completely even, with no lumps or spots.
- INCLUDES: Highest Quality Vegetable Tanned Cowhide Suede mounted on a MDF wood block FOR TROUBLE FREE operations. Start honing your edges easily, avoid troubles with glue or complicated projects. - DIMENSIONS: 3" wide x 8" long. According to our experience these are correct dimensions for mostly blades.THICKNESS of the leather: As prove of authenticity of vegetable real leather the thickness may vary from 5/64" to 3/32", but 90 of strops come in 3/32" 2.2 mm approx, more than enough for honing. MDF block dimensions: 3" wide x 8" long x 0.75" high plus the attached leather makes a total height of 0.87" inches. Perfect height to hold in our hands or upon a bench, table or kitchen counter
- EASY TO USE and MAINTAIN: Stropping is the act of aligning the edge of razors, chisels, tools & all kind of knives. Our Strops GIVE & MAINTAIN a polished sharp cutting edge.Our leather does not need maintenance, just a pass with fine sandpaper from time to time. Knives should be clean before stropping to avoid leaving a layer of dirt, clean the blade after stropping. It can be reloaded in the future, but it will be quite late, depending on the use.
