Description
- MALC15 Lighted Work Chamber keeps dust and debris contained when grinding, sanding, polishing and drilling workpieces that fit in your hand. The compact, semi-enclosed unit is designed for use with compressed air and dust collection. It is a great addition to the benches of jewelers, dental and other lab technicians, carvers, and custom fabricators working with small workpieces.
- The Lighted Work Chamber features a compressed air nozzle with variable air flow up to 90 PSI or 6 Bars. The air nozzle pivots to funnel dust and debris away from the workpiece, through the back of the chamber and into a dust collection system. The unit has an inlet for connecting 4mm compressed air tubing and comes with a 4mm to 6mm adapter. Other sizes of quick connect couplings are readily available to match specific air systems.
- The vacuum port on the back fits a 2-1/4 diameter hose for connection to a dust collector, shop vacuum or other dust collection system. A 2-pin style plug outlet on the back is used for connecting dust collectors with remote on/off switches. When the remote connection is in use, the front power button activates both the LED light and the dust collection system.
- The Chamber's bright LED light tilts to focus where needed. There is also a 2-1/2X magnifier which is 5 in diameter and has a 10x insert for closer work. The magnifier flips up out of the way when not needed.
- Two hinged, polycarbonate shields help to contain dust and debris and a removable watertight tray holds spillage when working with water and other lubricants. Padded arm rests on both sides keep you comfortable when working.
