Description
Knight Rider LED Scrolling Circuit, This LED scrolling circuit is the same pattern as the car KITT from Knight Rider and the Cylon Raiders from Battlestar Galactica. You can watch a video of the Knight Rider scrolling circuit in the reviews section of this listing, or by searching "Evan Designs Knight Rider" on YouTube. Dimensions: The LEDs are wired 8 inches from the circuit board and the power leads are also 8 inches long. The Circuit Board is 1 inch long, 1/2 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick. The nano chip LEDs are 1.6 mm x 0.8 mm. The wire lengths of each LED vary by a few millimeters in the order of the flash sequence. i.e. the LED with the shortest wire lights first, then second shortest, third and so on. This way the flashing sequence can be determined by the wire lengths while you are gluing them into position, without having the turn them on. Includes a battery strap with 2 on/off switches . One switch controls the Knight Rider circuit, and the other switch can be used for any additional lights you want to add . If you have no use for the second switch, you can cut it off shortly after the split. Powering your Knight Rider circuit: The Knight Rider circuit can be run on a 9 volt battery using the included battery strap, or on any 6-12 volt regulated DC adapter. Gluing the LEDs: The LEDs can be glued into position using any clear drying modeling glue. Do NOT use hot glue as the temperature can damage the diodes inside of the LEDs.
