Description
It is ideal to clean a cutting board or butcher's block immediately after use. The longer you wait, the more bacteria can grow in the knife grooves, and sending the boards through a washer can warp or damage them. Plus, the water might not reach the aforementioned knife grooves. The best thing to use is a 8" General Clean-Up Brush (40541), and do it by hand. The brush has polyester bristles and a pistol grip plastic handle to make scrubbing the boards a piece of cake.
