A hand-crafted condenser microphone, the sE Electronics sE2200 is a studio mic loved by a generation of engineers. Suitable for both vocal and instrumental applications, the sE2200 features a cardioid polar pattern and two custom designed 1" gold spluttered diaphragms to ensure pristine sound quality with optimal acoustic performance. Traditional class-A electronics with surface-mounted discrete electronic components deliver low noise, consistent performance, and high sensitivity on any source. A switchable -10 or -20dB attenuation pad provides high dynamic range, while selectable 80 Hz or 160 Hz low-cut filters effectively eliminate low-frequency rumble or footfall noise. The low-cut filters also compensate for excessive bass with close-mic techniques allowing you to record even very loud instruments like super-heavy electric guitars, fortissimo brass instruments, and heavy-footed kick drums.
