- WORKFLOW FUNDAMENTALS - You can use the H8 touchscreen to meet your project's needs with its three interface options organized by app. The Podcast App allows for four mics and two sound pad channels. The Music App lets you control levels, faders, metering and others, and you can use EQ and compression to edit recordings. The Field App lets you modify input and other settings.
- HIGH QUALITY SOUND - An H8 comes with a Zoom XYH-6 microphone, which captures signal directly in front of the recorder; with the Zoom's mic capsule system you can change up capsules for whatever you're producing, and allows up to four channels of audio.
- PRESS PLAY ON YOUR PHONE - It's possible to monitor level meters and hit record, play and stop in each of the three H8 apps. All you have to do is put a BTA-1 into your H8 and then connect to your smartphone or other iOS device.
- STAY ON SET FOR HOURS - By using only four AA batteries, the H8 provides more than 20 hours of recording time. If you get an AD-17 adapter, then just multiply those 20 hours times infinity-and record forever.
