This is a reliable k-type thermocouple wire with a K-Type sensor. The sensor is at the tip of a 3 ft long wire probe, which has a FEP high temperature plastic coating. This teflon based insulation is easier to clean than fiber glass insulation. It has a miniature type connector that will work with any digital K-type thermometer. This k type thermocouple can be used to measure air or gas temperatures, it can be attached to pipes or embedded into objects you want to measure. K tyep thermocouples are frequently used by scientists in the laboratory for chemistry, biology and physics.
