Description
- TREATS MANY FISH CONDITIONS: Microbe-Lift BSDT Broad Spectrum Disease Treatment is formulated to treat and control fish diseases caused by Ichthyophthirius , Chilodonella, Costia, Oodinium, Trichodina and fungal infections. It is intended to be used for all kinds of ornamental pond fish. It may not be used for fish that will be eaten by humans. This 32 ounce bottle treats up to 9, 600 gallons of water.
- 3 INGREDIENTS: This fish disease treatment contains water, formaldehyde and malachite green chloride. It should not be used with other medications. Malachite green and formalin are more effective and less toxic together than when used alone.
- EFFECTIVE DOWN TO 50 F: This is the only malachite green and formalin treatment that can be used in water as cool as 50 degrees Fahrenheit, even in early spring and late fall.
- SAFE FOR FISH AND AQUATIC PLANTS: When used as directed, this treatment is made to be safe for ornamental pond fish and water plants. It is less toxic to koi and goldfish than other malachite green and formalin products.
- APPLICATION RATE: Before adding the treatment, change at least 25 percent of the water. Add 3.5 fluid ounces of Microbe-Lift BSDT for every 1, 000 gallons of water to be treated. The treatment may be repeated daily for 3 days maximum, after at least a 25 percent water change each day. Depending on the response of treated fish, the treatment may be repeated every 8 to 12 hours. This treatment is not to be used with salt over 0.15 percent salinity.
