The SwellTech trucks are designed to mimic the movement of a surfboard by having a completely free motion front truck, with a more rigid standard truck in the rear. The free motion front truck mimics the unlimited movement of a surfboard -pump for speed and turn in any direction- while the rear truck acts as a stabilizing pivot point, like the fins in a surfboard.
- Designed by Italo Ferreira himself, the Italo Pro Air is a more compact setup with a smaller wheelbase at 20.5 inches. This shorter wheelbase allows for the quickest pumping and sharpest turning of our decks. This deck is recommended to a smaller to medium sized rider, or someone who is looking for a very advanced shortboard feel. The photo features Italo boosting a massive air at Jeffries Bay.
- We recommend this board to riders 4'10' to 5'10 or 149-170cm tall. Note, These heights are only suggestions, any rider can shred any board
