- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: In all C-ases, the mounting surfaces of these components must be parallel to each other within 0.003 inches. If these surfaces are not parallel, the clutch may get stuck on the shaft. Contact may exceed the inner ring because the seal is recessed
- TIPS ON INSPECTION: Engine shaft size: Most of the time, PTO clutches are mounted directly on the engine shaft. If the installation is not on an engine shaft, please make sure that the tolerances are close enough to provide a snug fit between the bore of our clutch and the shaft.Direction of rotation: We manufacture our units for either clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation. They can be mounted with the pulley toward the engine or they can be mounted with the pulley away from the engine.
- FEATURES: To burnish a clutch, reduce the engine speed to about half. A typical burnishing time will take anywhere from 5 to 30 cycles depending upon inertia.However, coatings are applied to our clutches, which can significantly reduces the polishing time.
