- With a simple yet elegant design available in 5 classic finishes, Plein Aire frames are perfect for framing art panels, and 3/4" pre-stretched canvas.
- These frames have a solid wood composition coated in gesso to ensure a smooth surface. The 3" wide molding is enhanced by a raised and rounded top edge with an offset inner groove. Comes with hanging hardware.
- Our Gold Leaf Plein Aire Frames will have gilded lines intentionally visible to provide an authentic, handmade look to the finish. THEY ARE NOT SCRATCHES. They have a vintage aspect in the grooves and the pattern varies from frame to frame. See the secondary images for a close up view of this effect.
- DOES NOT INCLUDE GLASS, BACKING, OR OFFSET CLIPS. If you choose to frame a canvas: it will only accept up to 3/4" and you will need to purchase 1/4" offset clips separately. If you choose to buy glass and backing: it will accept glass, one mat, and a 1/8" backing board.
