Description
- PACKAGING: 4" X 4" Silver Antibacterial Alginate dressing is a sterile, non-woven pad composed of alginate and silver particles, which absorbs wound exudate and releases silver in the presence of would fluid. Individually wrapped in packs of 5. Dressings can be cut to fit the size of the wound.
- HIGH ABSORBENCY: Absorbing a large amount of wound exudate & reduce the frequency of dressing changes. Antimicrobial activity. Silver concentration: 50 microg/100 cm2. Effective broad spectrum antibacterial dressing working against both Gram negative & Gram positive bacteria.
- PROMOTES WOUND HEALING: Wound pad helps to form a gel-like surface over the wound that supports a moist wound healing environment and keeps the dressing from adhering to the wound, which can promote wound healing. Minimize pain and trauma while changing dressings: Strip shape dressing can fill cavity wounds and less sticky to wound surface and allows intact removal.
- BREATHABLE & EASY TO APPLY: Semipermeable Polyurethane film acts a liquid barrier while allowing the passage of oxygen and water vapor. The multilayered structure works together to create a highly absorbent yet breathable surface keeping the wound moist and sterile. This dressing contains silver. In ivory color, not in grey color
- SCOPE OF APPLICATION: Antibacterial Silver Alginate Dressing is indicated for the management of moderate to heavily exuding partial to full thickness wounds - including postoperative wounds, trauma wounds, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetics ulcers, graft & donor sites. It is a great first aid application to help in minor abrasions, cuts, lacerations, scrapes, scalds & burns. Especially useful for highly exudative wounds with & without cavities.
