Description
- FindTape V2A Volara Type 2A Crosslinked Polyolefin Polyethylene Foam Tape is an economical, general-purpose low-density closed-cell polyolefin / polyethylene 1/2 thick foam tape either die-cut into strips or available as full rolls that are coated on one side with a high-performance rubber-based adhesive.
- The general-purpose LDPE is ideal for industrial applications such as gap filler and industrial gaskets.
- The V2A Volara type is perfect to use in the fixture and construction of face mask shields. Since the foam is closed-cell has excellent weatherability and chemical resistance which allows for better washing and sanitization.
- The foam coated with a quick stick adhesive for mounting or positioning. Strips are die-cut into 3/4 inch wide x 9 inch long strips. Used in applications requiring positive seals on irregular surfaces or when flexibility and conformability to seal tight radius curves are critical considerations.
- Carrier/Backing: low-density closed-cell crosslinked polyolefin polyethylene foam. Adhesive: rubber-based. Release Liner: silicone-coated paper. Adhesion: 112 ounces per inch . Service/Operating Temperature: -20F to 150F. Application Temperature: 65F to 100F. Density: 2 pounds per cubic foot. Compression Deflection : 5 psi.
