Small Axe Peppers Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce is made with Ghost Peppers sourced from community gardens and urban farms in cities across the United States. In the spring, with the help of LOCAL non-profits, we distribute Ghost Pepper seeds and seedlings to participating gardens free of charge. Over the course of the growing season, the gardens harvest, and we collect their Ghost Pepper crop. We use these peppers in our hot sauces, according to recipes developed by Culinary Institute of America graduate Chef King Phojonakong. Each Bottle of Small Axe Peppers Hot Sauce purchased, directly supports the community gardens who grow these Peppers. Made with Ghost Peppers, this is by far the spiciest Hot Sauce we have ever made! Still, that doesn't mean we skimped on delicious flavor. The freshly ground Chipotle powder in this hot sauce adds a smokiness which makes it a perfect addition to any chili, pozole, gumbo, or any other slow cooked meal that needs a little extra spice! It's also a perfect compliment to chicken wings when making your own Buffalo wing sauce.
