This should loosen the retainer nut.
- > NOTE : Perfect replacement of worn blade assembly. Install with a Vitamix wrench. The old blade bounced out. The new blade is a bit difficult to install and can clean the threads on the lock ring. A bit of food-grade grease on the thread will go a long way and help avoid cross threading.
