Mama's Family, the delightfully offbeat TV comedy whose successful run spanned from 1983 to 1990, originally began as a skit on the legendary Carol Burnett Show. As portrayed by Vicki Lawrence, the formidable Mama put the "diss" in dysfunctional. Mama dispenses no-nonsense motherly advice, discipline, and verbal kicks in the backside. There's nervous sister Fran , slow-witted son Vint , his girlfriend the bubble headed Naomi and frequent appearances by Carol Burnett as Mama's uptight daughter Eunice. Season 2 includes all 22 original broadcast episodes as well as the never before released 1982 made-for-TV movie Eunice staring Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, Betty White & Ken Berry which launched the TV series, plus five original Family sketches from The Carol Burnett Show!
