Description

  1. MORTAR & PESTLE Are tools used to prepare ingredients or substances by crushing and grinding them into a fine paste or powder in the kitchen, laboratory, and pharmacy. The mortar is a bowl, typically made of hard wood, metal, ceramic, or hard premium stone, such as granite. The pestle is a heavy and blunt club-shaped object. The substance to be ground, which may be wet or dry, is placed in the mortar, where the pestle is pressed and rotated onto it until the desired texture is achieved.
  2. EVERYDAY USE Kitch Americas mortar & pestles are made to be used. Use them to crush nuts, seeds, ginger, garlic, cinnamon, mustard, mint, and much more. Delicious guacamole, pesto, salsa, chutneys! Can also be used in pharmaceuticals, powder pills, ingestion, and teas
  3. CRAFTSMANSHIP AND SIZE Each Kitch mortar & pestle is 6" wide x 3" tall. Made from unpolished granite with extra wide stance for solid placement. These solid grinders weight 5 lbs. 3 oz. and make short work of any substance that needs to be broke down. The capacity of the bowl is 1.5 cups or 12.5 liquid oz.
  4. CLEAN & CARE Remove food debris from both the mortar and pestle and rinse. Set them aside to air dry. Pour two tablespoons of uncooked rice into the mortar. Using your pestle, roughly grind the rice until it becomes a dark color. Discard the colored rice. Pour in another two tablespoons of rice. Grind the rice until it remains white. Thoroughly rinse the mortar and pestle with warm water until all debris is removed. Then set the mortar and pestle on a drying rack to air dry.
  5. MONEY BACK GUARANTEE 100 hassle free money back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with the product in anyway, we will refund or replace your purchase no questions asked!
