Description
- Spreading perennial, to 6 inches tall; forms thick mats with clusters of deep pink flowers, very fragrant! Used in stone walkways, borders and areas needing a ground cover.
- Creeping thyme lawns are drought-tolerant, requiring much less water than a traditional grass lawn. When the hot weather comes, traditional grass lawns start to turn brown, but creeping thyme doesn't.
- Creeping Thyme provides excellent ground cover and tolerates light foot traffic in place of a traditional lawn. It also replaces standard thyme in the kitchen
- Attracts butterflies to your lawn
- Planting Instructions : 1. Sow seeds in containers, cover them lightly with soil . Ideally 64-75 degrees Fahrenheit. The soil should be kept moist, but not too wet. As the plants get bigger, you can proceed with regular watering to maintain proper moisture. Germination will take place between 14-21 days.
- These seeds are extremely small, which can provide impressive coverage if used sparingly, or easy planting if casually sprinkled.
