This project is a 3DOF controller based on the Google Daydream headset's standard reference. Its main function is to obtain the pose information of the users hand with 3 degrees of freedom. The information is transmitted via BLE and is designed with VR/AR interactions in mind. The controller consists of a 6-axis gyroscope and accelerometer. The upper section of the controller comprises a touch panel (motor-less), two keys (a return key and Home key) whilst the lower section is the area where 3A batteries are inserted. The front of the controller will comprise an LED indicator.A trigger is also located on the upper half lower section of the controller.The Touchpad is the only separate module and it is connected to the main board and IMU via the FPC line.TheTouch pad does not have any tactile feedback.
