Description
- FULL SIZE USB 2.0 PORTS FOR YOUR DEVICE: Simple plug and play USB Type-C hub for host-mode capable devices including HP, Lenovo, Dell, and Acer Computers and Tablets. Connect additional peripherals like keyboards, mice, and other low power accessories. Get the most bandwidth for your USB based devices without sacrificing performance through our reliable USB hub chipset.
- REQUIRES POWER CAPABILITY FROM DEVICE: The components you connect must be within the power envelope of your device. This is an unpowered hub and uses very little power by itself. Make sure that the accessories you connect are within the power supply capability of your device. For example, if your phone is only capable of delivering 1A of current and peripherals use more, they may not work at all or work intermittently.
- NON-BLOCKING PORTS: Our hub is laid out so that multiple USB devices can be plugged in without blocking each other. It is laid out ideally so that each port can be used and interference is minimized.
- RASPBERRY PI 4 ADDITIONAL STEPS: By default, Raspberry Pi 4's USB Type C port is configured for slave mode. Plugging in this hub will not automatically work. You need to enable host mode by adding "dtoverlay dwc2, dr_mode host" without quotes to the bottom of the config.txt file. In Raspbian, this is under /boot/config.txt
- AVAILABLE IN BLACK AND WHITE AND PROJECT READY: Need to add USB ports to a Raspberry Pi 4 project? The external case can be disassembled by pulling the top and bottom apart. Integrate it directly into your customized project!
