- INGENIOUS SYSTEM - The crock comes with a water line on the inside. And the water creates a protection layer and sealing. This is the key to keep air away from the butter and keep it spreadable and fresh for a few weeks at room temperature.
- EASY STEPS TO USE - Firstly, press the softened butter into the dry lid firmly. Secondly, pour cold filtered water into the base of the crock to the waterline . Finally, replace the lid into the bottom of crock.
- TIPS - Over-softened butter is the main cause for butter falling into the water, pls noted no hotter than 80 F in the hot summer months. Adding a little salt/ice to the water is helpful to keep fresh, while it doesn't affect the taste of the butter either; Clarified butter and whipped butter are not recommended for use in this french butter keeper.
