- Borax is an amazingly versatile cleaner. When added to water it creates a reaction that produces Hydrogen Peroxide, and Sodium Borate. This makes a very strong "oxidizer" that will clean just about anything while killing off microorganisms that cause diseases and/or bad smells.
- What that means is you can use Borax to clean anything. It is the best all-around cleaner. If you want to clean the kitchen or bathroom just dissolve borax into an unused spray bottle and use it instead of a "Bathroom Cleaner", or "Kitchen Counter" cleaner. We recommend two large scoops per 12 Oz of warm water. Need more cleaning power such as hard water stains or greasy stovetops, you can just sprinkle borax on it after you sprayed and it will get to those stains.
- And of course, it is a natural laundry booster, throw a small scoop in for everyday grime, and a large scoop in for the kid's clothes or gym clothes. It will help get them clean. What you might not have known is that it can clean carpets as well! Blot the carpet add a little water and borax and blot it some more. Works great.
