This is Ian, The founder of QS.USA! & x1F603; As an outdoor lover who loves biking & x1F6B4; fishing & x1F3A3; and walking my dog & x1F436; at night, I found myself reaching for that cheap headlamp I purchased at a local hardware store quite often. While it worked ok, I got tired of the short battery life and wasting money on a new AAA battery every time I was ready to use the lamp not to mention the weak light output.
