- Provides coverage for the same side of the head as the Pitcher's throwing arm. Due to pitching mechanics and follow-through, Right Handed Pitchers are exposed to impact on the right side of the skull and Left Handed Pitchers are exposed to impact on the left side the skull.
- Tested to reduce skull impact force from a baseball by an average of 50 .
- Handmade in USA from lightweight and ultra strong Carbon Fiber. Weighs between 1.2 and 1.4 ounces depending on size.
- Worn inside the hat, providing protective coverage for the forehead, temples, and side of the skull to just behind the ear; which are the most vulnerable areas to impact from a line drive. Can be worn by most baseball players without having to use a larger hat size.
- Secured inside the hat with an iron-on velcro kit . Installation takes approximately 5 minutes.
