Description
- Bearing races can now be removed and installed precisely in minutes while the wheels remain on the hub. This is a hydraulically powered kit that horizontally services bearing races when used together with bearing specific adapters. Please note that this starter kit will not work without at least one adapter and a 10, 000 psi hydraulic foot pump
- Application: Commonly found on class 6-8 transportation trucks and equipment. This tool requires a 10, 000 psi pump and at least one adapter kit to operate
- The 10909 has 20 tons of pulling power for efficient removal and installation of the race and is manufactured from high-grade steel for strength and durability. The Bearing Race Starter Kit also includes an aluminum ring to mitigate the risk of damage to ABS ring located on the inboard side of the hub
- After removing the wheel & hub assembly from the truck, the 10909 is utilized to remove old races & install new ones with ease. Removing & reinstalling the wheels is time consuming-for technicians & customers. Lug nuts require re-torqueing after the first 50 to 100 miles of service. By leaving the wheel mounted to the hub, the 10909 reduces shop time, reduces the likelihood of a wheel-off situation, & improves the lifespan of the wheel studs by not unnecessarily re-torqueing them
