- Pres-On P-8500 Series Gasketing Open-Cell Foam Tape is a highly flexible fine cell polyester urethane foam tape designed for automotive gasketing applications. The rubber-based, pressure-sensitive adhesive demonstrates a powerful level of adhesion on a variety of surfaces.
- Excellent for sealing out dirt and moisture, as well as dampening sound and vibration.
- Resists aging, weather conditions, and environmental damage, making it perfect for repairs or installations that need to last for years to come.
- Application Instructions: Thoroughly clean contact surface before use. Once P8500 has been applied, it cannot be removed and reused. Ensure alignment is correct and that contact is being made with all desired surfaces.
- Carrier/Backing: Polyurethane open-cell foam. Adhesive: rubber-based. Release Liner: white siliconized paper. Adhesion: 128 ounces per inch . Tensile Strength: 100 pounds per inch . Service/Operating Temperature: 0F to 140F. Application Temperature: 50F to 80F. Elongation: 150 . Density: 5 to 9 psi. Loop Tack: 115 ounces per inch typical. Core: 3-inch diameter .
