The outline drawing does not reflect the actual physical product. It has numbers on it to show where the pieces fit together, for example, 1 to 1, 2 to 2 and so on. The pieces are cut from one piece of wood, that is more of a square than the two rectangle shapes shown in the outline drawing. There appears to be no glue included, although the instructions mention using "the glue" to keep the pieces together, you will have to provide your own glue, regular children's Elmer's or wood glue will work for keeping these wood pieces together after assembly, if desired. Or, one can take it apart and reassemble them again and again. There are two age related statements on box: 1) Warning ! Chocking Hazard - Small parts: Not for children under 3 yrs. and 2) Age 6+ The first relates to keeling the small parts away from very young children who may put them in their mouths. The second is an age appropriate rating arising from to the problem solving challenge and manual coordination required for assembly of the pieces to match the picture.
