Considered the pole saw of choice for professional tree care experts, the Silky HAYAUCHI Telescoping Aluminum Pole Saw comes in four sections to allow you to prune branches up to 25' high. The oval shaped aluminum alloy extension pole provides precise control over the direction of the blade, as well as strength and rigidity to the pole, helping to keep bending on your part to a minimum. This is especially critical for high cutting. The base pole comes with a shock absorber at the pole end and a comfortable rubberized overgrip to ensure a firm hold and great control. The 15.4" curved cutting blade can handle the toughest pruning jobs. It can be adjusted to two different angles for lower and higher cutting. The blade has a lower sickle to undercut bark and an upper sickle to cut vines. This telescoping manual pole saw can be used in applications for forestry, arborists, pruning and trimming, lawn and garden, and more. Two locking systems are incorporated into the HAYAUCHI 179-39 Pole Saw for the structural rigidity of the extended poles. These are the locking pins / buttons and the friction clamps . The two systems are designed to work together. The dual locking system allows 100 of effort at the handle to be transferred to the blade up to 21' away. A Replacement Blade 177-02-03 is included in this bundle to replace the blade on the Silky HAYAUCHI Telescoping Pole Saw 179-39 should it become dull and worn out over time.
