Description
- Provides UPS using one or two rechargeable 18650 Lithium batteries in battery holder or connecting an external battery. Batteries are not included. Choice of Li-Ion, Li-Polymer or Li-Phosphate batteries. Please use unprotected batteries. Protected batteries will not fit in the holder.
- Power in via USB-C or Micro-USB. Ideal for Pi-4 or Pi-3. Max 2.5A. Steady 5V output on UPS. Input V is passed through when power is available. Low input V is indicated via LED.
- On-board ADC allows Vin, Vout, Battery V and temperature monitoring via I2C. Sample Python code can be downloaded for use from Alchemy Power web site.
- Provision for On/Off switch as well as external connections for Power and battery. UPS 3.3V out for connecting sensors.
- Several safety features are built in. LED's indicate status, including when UPS is operational. Provision for external connectors for external Vin, Vout, Battery and I2C bus. Some soldering required for the connection.
