- IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using an iPhone with no 3.5mm jack , make sure that you are using the original Apple lightning to 3.5mm adapter . Most replacement lightning to 3.5mm adapters are not capable of connecting to a microphone. Similarly, if you are using an Android device with no 3.5mm jack, make sure that you are using a USB C to 3.5mm adapter that can be connected to a microphone.
