Description
- SOLIDLY BUILT - The v band clamp is of good quality and will not strip even when installed with impact. It's constructed of stainless steel with a bright metallic luster and is not easy to rust. The band is tightly welded and there is no risk of separation.
- MALE FEMALE FLANGES - 4 flanges are attached. These flanges are stout and heavy with well machined male/female connections. The slip over pipe end is fantastic for getting the clamp properly positioned and welded into place. The flanges are thick enough to weld nicely and can be easily butted or slipped over your 4" exhaust.
- QUICK INSTALL - Weld the flange on in the tube and then tighten it with the band. The flanges tighten up nicely, but be careful of warping. After welding them, immediately bolt the matching flange to help the welded one keep from warping.
- PRACTICABILITY - The v band clamp flange kit allows for a connection with a single nut. The nut is designed to prevent loosening due to vibration. The quick release v band clamp provides an effective fastening solution in exhaust systems, removing intercooler systems and turbo parts.
