- Easy DIY Project : Use these closers to convert hinged doors to self-closing doors. Can be used on doors weighing up to 150 pounds and can be used on both left and right handed doors.
- Installation Notes: Adjust the shutter a quarter turn at a time and test the door after each adjustment to prevent over-tensioning. Excessive tension will cause the spring to bend. If you want to add extra lubricant to the unit, carefully disassemble the unit after releasing the tension and apply white lithium grease directly to the spring.
- Widely Used: Surface-mounted spring-loaded closer, tension rod, slide plate and hole plug for overriding the adjustment holes in the closer body after setting the desired tension.
- Safe to Use: With its non-handed design and white finish, this safety spring closer will complement any style of door. 1" wide base, 4-1/4" hole center spacing and 4-3/4" arms.
