- Our Fu Zi is processed traditionally, soaked in salt solution for various days. This is done both to reduce toxicity and preserve the root; Fu Zi is then steamed, peeled and cut by hand. The slices are steamed once again and further rinsed over the next several days to eliminate residue of salt solution. Once the salt residue is cleared, the roots are can be finally dried for for packaging and use.
