• DIY Beeswax Food Wraps - Add "stickiness" to organic bees wax wraps by adding equal parts rosin to beeswax. Make your own alternative to plastic wrap. Heat in a double boiler, low heat with beeswax add 4-5 drops of oil, stir until melted. Brush on cloth and let dry. Use over and over!

Pine Rosin has many uses, but most of our customers prefer to use it in DIY beeswax food wraps or as a sports or buck stock rodeo grip enhancer. For DIY Beeswax Wraps - Add beeswax and rosin to a double boiler or use a metal bowl on top of a saucepan that has 3-4 inches of water. Turn heat to low. Watch carefully heating rosin until it is no longer thick in the double boiler. It will be ready to use when it has melted to a liquid form. DO NOT MICROWAVE ROSIN! Rosin is not for the microwave. Only heat indirectly on low heat. Brush on cotton cloth to create wraps. IMPORTANT! Rosin is a very sticky substance so make sure to protect your counters or surface that come in contact with the rosin. SPORTS USE - Easily crushed with a mallet or hammer to form a powder or use straight in the rock form.
