- Please note there is 2 versions of this hanger. Both Derailleur Hangers look the same but have a different fit. The updated version fits some new models. Please contact us if you are unsure as there is over 7000 derailleur hangers and they are not universal. GT uses 30 different hangers based on frame design
- Before installing a derailleur hanger, the rear dropouts need to be check for alignment. If the rear dropouts are not aligned and the new derailleur hanger is installed, it will break or bend. This is a specific tool that is used to check alignment.
