- This is a new premium quality full spectrum L shaped CCFL. 111 x 82mm in length and 2.4mm in diameter. These high quality lamp assemblies are exact replacements. Commonly used in LCD screens in many computers, ATMs, POS systems, GPS, Marine applications, and more!
- Is your display not lighting up? Maybe it is getting dim or even starting to have a reddish or pinkish hue, maybe it has completely gone dark. The good news: you need a new CCFL backlight lamp and we have them. We stock LCD backlight bulbs for most LCDs. The backlight repair is actually easier than you think, and once you replace the CCFL lamp in your LCD you have essentially restored your LCD display to new condition, as bright and vibrant as it was the first day you got it.
- How do you know if you need a new backlight? Power on your screen and shine a bright light on it . If you can see the image on the screen, that means the screen is working, but simply not being lit up; this would be a backlight issue, meaning that a new backlight is needed.
- Determine which CCFL backlight is correct for your LCD: by the dimensions of your CCFL. To find this extract the CCFL bulb from its metal or plastic casing. Remove the silicone end-caps on the ends of the lamp should your backlight have any. Take a length measurement from the end-of-the-glass to the end-of-the-glass. This will be your length. Take a measurement of the thickness of the CCFL glass tube with a precision instrument .
