- The Ethernet splitter 1 to 2 extenders, also known as RJ45 splitters, are primarily utilized to rectify connectivity issues caused by inadequate wiring. Ethernet splitters allow for two devices to function simultaneously, but they must be used in pairs. If only one splitter is used, one port will operate, but the other will not function.
- The RJ45 Splitter adapter splits the original built-in Ethernet cable into two separate groups, specifically 1236 and 4578. These groups transmit data through pure physical connections, without the ability to allocate IP addresses.
- This adapter, which is not a router or network switch, does not have the ability to assign IP addresses. Its common usage involves splitting the logistics network cable into two parts, enabling two devices such as a laptop, TV box, router, or camera to be online simultaneously.Plug and play, no need to set.
- The RJ45 network splitter adapter is distinct from both a network router and a network adapter, as it cannot assign IP addresses.Three methods of connection: 1. Sharing one Ethernet line between two computers simultaneously. 2. Networking both routers and set-top boxes at the same time. 3. Utilizing routers to extend the signal to other devices.
