- AUSTRALIAN WOOL - Benchmark Abrasives flap discs are made with premium Australian wool/felt. This compressed wool is used because of it's natural durability and versatility.
- BUFFING & POLISHING - Felt flap discs are used in the final stage of polishing for a high gloss or mirror finish. Because they are used on an angle grinder, they are excellent for any size surface area.
- VERSATILITY - Used in conjunction with a polishing paste, our felt flap discs are used for polishing stainless teel, aluminum, automotive work, non-ferrous metals and stone. We recommend an ideal speed of roughly 3, 000 RPM and a MAX RPM of 13, 300.
- STREAMLINED DESIGN - The layered style of our felt flap discs offers the same performance of a solid wool disc at a more economic price, while also minimizing heat on the work piece during use.
- REINFORCED FIBERGLASS BACKING - Our durable fiberglass backers are designed to handle high pressure and absorb vibration, giving the user a balanced, smooth grind.
