Photoluminescent exit signs have the ability to earn leed points with energy efficient products and are also compliant with all current building codes (2009 IBC, NFPA 101). Brady B-355 BradyGlo high performance photoluminescent exit signs are steel encased glow-in-the-dark plastic panels. The signs are intended for indoor use only. Relevant standards compliant to NFPA life safety code 101 and OSHA 1910. Exceeds UL924 requirements for upper and lower service temperature limits and humidity resistance. Illuminescent characteristics are a minimum of 1 hour of 54 lux of unfiltered fluorescent light exposure is required on the sign face at all times during building occupancy. After 60 minutes of 54 lux exposure, the sign is 100 percent charged and will continue to glow for 50 to 60 continuous hours when charged with fluorescent, metal halide or mercury vapor lamps.
