- 5.Application Used as an analytical reagent. Used as a fixative in microscopic analysis. Used as leather tanning agent, printing and dyeing mordant and photographic fixer. Laboratory experiments can precipitate crystals, or it can be mixed with aluminum potassium sulfate to precipitate mixed crystals. Used as a cross-linking agent and food additives for oil fracturing fluids.
