- About installation Use deep-well 7/8" socket , and took a grinder to the outside of the socket to make it a very thin-wall. Then it would fit in from the dryer drum side after the bearing was removed. You have to "push" the outside wall of the dryer to get the blind carriage bolt to grab while re-attaching the new shaft. Once it grabs, you can tighten easily with your ratchet and 7/8" socket.
- Tools to be Used Phillips screw driver 2.22mm extra thin walled deep socket 3.3) 5mm Allen wrench. Note you will still need to grind the wall thickness down a couple of hundredths and about a half inch deep to get the bearing bolt loose.
