- Adjustable Emissivity : When measuring temperature with this IR Thermometer, every material is going to have different reflective properties that must be tuned in to get accurate readings. Pls look at the chart in the instructions for basic Emissivity numbers for different materials, or look on line.To adjust the Emissivity number, press the "MODE" button for 3 seconds with unit on to toggle between edit or no edit. Adjust with UP or DN buttons.
