Review: "A TV movie from 1992 about the true story of Bambi Bembenek, a cop who is accused of and then jailed for the murder of her husband's ex-wife. The movie starts with Bembenek escaping from prison and a detective looking back at the evidence of how she ended up in prison in the first place, going through her marriage, being kicked off the force for drug use, the murder, trial and conviction before she's caught again in Canada. Though dated now the story is really interesting as there seems very little evidence that Bembenek was actually the killer - tampered or missing evidence throughout the trial, some rather more obvious candidates for the murder, including her husband - but she's the one who's sent down for it. Bembenek herself passed away a few years ago . . . this movie . . . does leave you with the question of who the real killer may have been, if not Bembenek, and features appearances from Exorcist's Linda Blair and Saw's Jigsaw killer Tobin Bell."
