- TOOL DESIGN: With a unique parallel action, flat plate crimping area that evenly crimps jellybean consistently, the tool leaves the connector body undamaged. The slim, lightweight tool features a locking latch to keep the tool closed when not in use.
- APPLICATION RANGE: Apart from the jellybean UR/UR2/UY/UY2/IDC contact butt splice connectors, the cable splice repair kit cuts and strips 18-24 AWG wires used in common phone applications.
- USAGE: Do not strip the individual conductors before placing them into the IDC connections. Once crimped, the connections will puncture the conductors' insulating jackets, allowing the conductors to share conductivity.
