- Make sure to pay close attention as to which way the pinion gears are oriented on the shaft so that they ratchet/drive in the correct directions, make sure that you do have the correct gear on the correct side of the lawn mower or else it will not turn wheel. One gear belongs on the left side and the other belongs on the right side, do not mix them up.
- Installation Method: Remove the rear wheels, the locking washers, the gears, keys and springs. Cleaned up the machine and reinstalled the new hardware and the rear wheels. you can put a little dab of grease on the springs, keys, and inside the gears, It will work better.
