- Installation instructions: 1. Use a wrench to loosen and remove the hex nut on the end of the ball joint. Be sure to keep all washers and other hardware.2. Turn counterclockwise to remove ball joint assembly from rod end. 3. Install the new ball joint and adjust it to the desired length, then fix the lock nut on the ball joint assembly.
- 4. Place the end of the ball joint assembly into the bracket, replace the washer and hex nut, and tighten. 5. Repeat the above steps to remove and replace the ball joint assembly on the other end of the connecting rod.
