The Burndy EPAC10 electric/hydraulic pump with air control is a hydraulic pump that produces 10,000 psi of output pressure and is suitable for use with Burndy Y34BH and Y35BH remote crimp heads (not included). It is actuated electrically through an air control bulb attached with a 15' air line, which keeps the operator electrically isolated from the unit. A three-position toggle switch allows the operator to select automatic, off, or manual operation modes. In manual mode, the unit operates only while the air bulb is squeezed. In automatic mode, one squeeze advances the tool to a "hold" position, allowing the operator to inspect component orientation, and a second squeeze completes the crimp operation. This pump comes equipped with a hydraulic hose coupling and a fluid level sight glass for inspection of minimum fluid level. It is suitable for stationary or portable use in a wide range of industrial and commercial crimping and cutting applications.
